We’re looking for a Learning and Development Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Newcastle West. This is a permanent, full-time role, where you'll play a central role in a collaborative and supportive team to deliver high-quality learning experiences in a purpose-driven organisation.
In this role, you’ll contribute to the delivery of our learning framework and processes, acting as a key support for employees and stakeholders for the learning management system (LMS) and Diocesan-wide learning programs. Your strong organisational skills will be key in supporting the planning, coordination and administration of learning and development initiatives that build organisational capability.
Your ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide consistent, high-quality support will be critical. The Learning and Development Coordinator will contribute to the delivery of CDMNs learning framework and governance processes and will act as a key support to employees and stakeholders for the learning management systems.
Critical to the success of this role is its relationships with stakeholders and the ability to provide high quality, consistent and robust advice and support to ensure a high quality learning experience for our employees, and that accurate learning records are captured in the LMS.
Desired Skills and Experience
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
Proven experience in a HR, training or learning coordinator role
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to provide effective and appropriate advice and information to a variety of people
Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint
Experience and well-developed skills in managing data and undertaking analysis in MS Excel
Experience working in and maintaining a Learning Management System e.g. ELMO (Desirable)
Demonstrated experience in the provision of exceptional customer service and a customer centric approach
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and meet deadlines in an environment with competing priorities, whilst maintaining high quality outcomes
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma of Human Resource Manager or Cert IV in Training & Assessment or other relevant HR qualifications, or relevant equivalent experience
Current Class C Driver’s Licence
