In this key Technology Services position based at our Newcastle West office, you’ll work closely with other members of the Data and Analytics team to design, expand, and optimise data pipelines and architecture.
Your expertise will support smarter decision-making by enabling seamless data collection, integration, and preparation.
The salary for this position is approximately $125,000 - $130,000 per annum. However, the successful candidate's salary offer will reflect their relevant skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Improve Data Systems: Collaborate with architects, developers, and other teams to create data storage and pipeline systems that meet business needs while supporting future growth.
Enable Strategic Data Use Across the Organisation: Work closely with internal teams and external providers to identify, collect, and integrate relevant data sources, to support analytics, decision-making, and continuous improvement in data quality and governance
Prepare Data for Analysis While Ensuring Security: Clean, organise, and structure data for reporting or analysis, while following privacy rules and maintaining strong data protection practices.
Desired Skills and Experience
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
Boomi, Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Bricks and MS SQL Server.
Experience integrating data from multiple data sources and transforming.
Understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball).
Good understanding of Python and PowerShell.
Good working knowledge of data warehouse, database and business intelligence environments, concepts and techniques.
Strong understanding of concepts and techniques for design, development and implementation of ETL, data using API integration and data quality.
Ability to learn and implement new and different techniques.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
