All Saints' Catholic College, Maitland is seeking a Permanent Full time Leader of Administration to join the team in January 2026.

This position will attract a 3pt allowance of $1,124.99 per fortnight.

Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the daily administrative functions of the School (7-12), and to provide innovation and leadership in the processes of efficient and effective timetabling options and strategies for the school.

Desired Skills and Experience

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

  • Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools.
  • Significant experience in teaching a relevant subject area course(s) in NSW Schools, or other appropriate systems, with the capacity to teach to HSC level in at least one subject area course.
  • Demonstrated evidence of experience inleadership of staff team/groups.
  • Extensive experience in the scheduling and coordination of school events.
  • Experience in timetabling requirements and demonstrated understanding of timetabling and scheduling complexities (academic timetable, examination scheduling, parent/teacher interviews etc.)
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, manage the daily requirements and work on future administrative requirements/initiatives etc.
  • Evidence of strong problem-solving skills regarding daily organisational challenges, such as timetabling, unexpected absences, and database issues.
  • Evidence of effective planning and strategy for improving administrative practices -identifying and developing bespoke solution to organisational challenges.
  • Experience with the coordinationstaff absences, daily organisation of staffing requirements, including casual arrangements (interviewing, due diligence/compliance, daily appointments etc).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject areaor Qualifications as a four-year trained Teacher
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training
  • Active NESA Accreditation

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
