St James’ Primary School, Muswellbrook is looking for a Uniform Officer to coordinate the school uniform shop for 6 hours per week, starting in January 2026. This is a great opportunity to support students and families while playing an important role in the day-to-day life of our school.

The position of School Officer – Uniform Shop is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the school uniform shop. The position requires the ability to maintain a cooperative working environment and provide a friendly, customer-focused service to students and parents within the school community.

Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including a pleasant phone manner and excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently, to be a flexible team player and to work cooperatively and collaboratively
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage several tasks concurrently
Ability to foster and promote positive personal relationships with all stakeholders

Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
