POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking OOSH Educators / Responsible People to join the teams at several of our successful and well-established services including Kilaben Bay and Morisset.
These opportunities will be offered on a casual basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.
You must be available to work afternoon shifts at least twice a week.
As an OOSH Educator / Responsible Person you will be responsible for:
- Supervising children’s play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviour
- Assisting the developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children’s independence, social skills, learning, and development.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
- Computer literacy in order to document examples of learning stories
- Experience in an OOSH service (desirable)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate III in Children’s Services or Certificate IV in School Age Education as identified by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority or be studying towards and early childhood or Primary Teaching qualification
- Working with Children Check verification number
- Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (desirable)
- Food Handler Basics Training (desirable)
