Help children recharge, connect and grow before and after the school. As an OOSH Educator or Assistant at St Nicholas, you will deliver engaging, age-appropriate experiences and build supportive relationships with children and families. You will be part of a friendly, values-led team that recognises your contribution every day.
We are currently seeking OOSH Educators, Assistantsand Responsible Persons to join the teams at several of our successful and well-established services, Charlestown, Warners Bay and Stockton.
These opportunities will be offered on apermanent part-time basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.
As an OOSH Educator / Assistant, you will be responsible for:
Supervising children’s play, ensuring their physical safety while promoting and guiding positive behaviour
Assisting the developing and implementing programs that offer a diverse range of experiences to promote children’s independence, social skills, learning, and development.

Tech-Savvy Storyteller: Confident using digital tools to document learning journeys and celebrate children’s growth.
Positive Energy: You bring a fun, professional, and reliable attitude to everything you do.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educators - An approved Certificate III or Certificate IV in School Age Education level qualification for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
Working with Children Check verification number
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (Desirable)
Child protection qualification. (Desirable)
