Job Description
St Nicholas Early Education supports and partners with families to nurture and inspire children as they develop the skills to flourish at home, in care and in communities.
We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic Certificate IIIand Diploma qualified Lunch Cover Educators (9:00am-2:00pm daily) to join our well-established services across the Newcastle, Maitland and Hunter regions.
This position would be ideal for someone looking for shorter hours, perhaps to accommodate picking up children from school or for those seeking part-time work. This role involves supporting a room by covering programming, study time and lunch breaks. There is potential for growth, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time if desired.
Desired Skills and Experience
Demonstrated understanding of:
National Quality Framework (NQF);
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF);
Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting;
Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices
QUALIFICATIONS
An approved Certificate III qualification for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
An approved Diploma level qualification for the purposes of the education and care services, national law and regulations
Child protection qualification
Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
Working with Children Check verification number
