Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking OOSH Educators to join the teams at our successful and well-established services located in Muswellbrook, Denman and Scone.

These opportunities will be offered on a casual basis, working across our before and after school programs and vacation care programs.

You must be available to work afternoon shifts at least twice a week.

EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA

  • A fun, professional, positive, and reliable demeanour
  • The ability to collaborate as an active member of the St Nicholas OOSH team
  • Be able to communicate effectively with children, families, and your team

a demonstrated understanding of:

  1. The National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place, and the Laws and Regulations governing our industry
  2. Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting
  3. Workplace Health and Safety issues and practices

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working with Children Check verification number
  • A Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or Certificate IV in Out of Hours School Care (Desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training (Desirable)
  • Child protection qualification (Desirable)
